As the lowest-ranking Staff Noncommissioned Officers (SNCOs), Marine Corps Staff Sergeants wear sew-on chevrons on two of the three types of uniforms authorized for enlisted Marines—Blue Dress and Service—as well as on two types that are also authorized for Officers, the Evening Dress and Blue-White Dress. While chevrons for the Blue-White Dress “A/B” Uniform are the same as for the Blue Dress “A/B” coat, the SNCO Evening Dress uniform calls for a distinctive 1890’s-style gold-on-scarlet insignia featuring extended chevron wings, resulting in a much broader base.
Use the Size and Finish drop-down selection boxes to the right to specify the appropriate type of sew-on Staff Sergeant chevrons for your uniform.
Size: Per USMC Uniform Regulations, sizes are large for men and small for women.
