The Combat Service ID Badge (CSIB) of the 300th Military Police Brigade is a pin-on metal version of the full-color insignia that was worn with the Army Green Uniform until 2015 and with Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) since 2019. CSIBs are worn with the blue Army Service Uniform and the Mess / Evening Mess Dress uniforms. The 300th Military Police Brigade is an Army Reserve unit assigned to the 200th Military Police Command. In addition to its Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) headquartered in Inkster, Michigan, it comprises several Military Police Battalions spread across several Midwestern states including Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, Kansas, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
During a 2007 – 2008 deployment to Iraq in support of the surge in U.S. in troops, the Brigade supported the adjudication processing of a record number of enemy detainees, providing appropriate reconciliation for some 20,000 detainees over a ten-month period. In July 2011, the unit was awarded Meritorious Unit Commendation for its service between 17 December 2007 and 15 September 2008.
