The Coast Guard Auxiliary’s Flotilla Public Relations Achievement Award (PRAA) is an obsolete decoration, one of six awards issued to individual Flotilla members based on overall Flotilla performance under the Goal Achievement Program. The GAP system was replaced by the Auxiliary Management by Objective System, or AMOS, which augmented the GAP program by adding individual milestones for each Auxiliarist in addition to a set of overall Flotilla goals; Auxiliarists failing to reach these milestones were not authorized to wear a ribbon for a particular service (public education, vessel inspection, etc.) even if the Flotilla met its minimum requirements in that area.
The current equivalent of the PRAA is the
Auxiliary Vessel Examination and Recreational Boating Safety Visitation Program (VE/RBSVP) Service Award.
