BLACK LEATHER SWORD FROG

Developed during a time when swords were essential rather than ceremonial, the leather sword frog or sword guard is designed to loop around the wearer’s belt and provide support for a scabbarded sword. Although the wear of swords is typically reserved for ceremonial occasions, some services provide for their wear in a broader array of circumstances than others.

Our black leather sword frog is suitable for use with Army and Air Force swords, including the Army NCO and West Point swords and the Air Force sword USAF Academy sword. It may also be used with Army Honor Guard swords, and fits belts up to 2.5” in width.
