The US Air Force garrison cap is the official garrison cap worn by the US Air Force personnel. The cap displayed is worn by the US Air Force officers. The garrison cap is also known as the flight cap, wedge cap, side cap & forage cap. It is a foldable cap with straight sides and a creased or hollow crown sloping to the back where it is parted. A rank insignia can be mounted on the right-hand side of the garrison cap.
