United States Marine Corps Regulations state that the Noncommissioned sword and scabbard are prescribable uniform accessories for NCOs at the rank of Corporal and above when they are wearing the Blue Dress, Blue-White Dress, or Service Uniforms. Typically, swords are prescribed for wear at parades, reviews, and official ceremonies, as well as for drills with troops.
Our White NCO sword frog/carrier is made of cowhide leather and is worn with the white belt. The Black NCO sword frog is made of Porvair, an extremely high-quality synthetic leather, and is worn with the service belt.
