Modeled closely after the famed USMC Blue Dress Coat for Enlisted Males, the Female Enlisted Blue Dress Coat introduced in 2018 replaced a single-breasted coat with notched lapels, four gold front closure buttons, six gold buttons on the sleeves, and two gold buttons on the epaulets. The new coat for Female Marines differs from the one worn by their Male counterparts in only minor details, such as a Velcro closure tab beneath the six gold buttons in front and the absence of pockets.
We manufacture the Female Enlisted Blue Dress Coat using premium, Mil-Spec certified 55/45 polyester-wool gabardine to meet or exceed all USMC uniform specifications and regulations. We also have incorporated several allowable enhancements to the classic standing-collar design, including a fully lined interior, heavily reinforced sleeve ends, and a full-canvas construction. Note: Our military dress coats and jackets are manufactured and ship with unfinished sleeves longer than most customers would ever need. This is to accommodate various arm lengths and to reduce total alteration costs since placement of sleeve stripes or services stripes is based upon distance from the sleeve end, allowing you to hem the sleeve to its regulation length before sewing on sleeve ornamentation.
