Worn with the Class A Service Dress Uniform, Class B Service Blue Uniform, and the Semi-Formal Uniform, Women’s Dress Slacks are available in either 100% polyester or a polyester-wool blend (fabric type must match that of the Service Dress Coat if worn with the Class A uniform). Per Air Force regulations, the slacks are designed to be straight-hanging so there is no flare at the bottom nor any alterations to taper the leg. They come with a center fly-front opening, waist darts in front and back, a pair of 1/4 top side pockets, and a five-loop waistband.
Properly sized slacks will fit naturally over the hip without bunching at the waist or bagging in the seat, with the bottom front of the slacks resting on the front of the shoe (or boot or top of the foot if wearing pumps) with only a slight break in the crease. The back of the slack legs are about 7/8 of an inch longer than the front.
Our USAF Women’s Dress Slacks normally ship with the legs unhemmed so you may have them adjusted specifically to fit you according to the regulations mentioned above. However, we do offer pants-hemming and other sewing services for customers who wish to receive their slacks and other garments ready to wear.
