If you put a premium on extended wear life, low maintenance, and an easy-to-achieve “just polished” appearance, our poromeric dress Oxfords (“Shiny” in the drop-down selection box) are the ideal choice. They’re manufactured with a Clarino upper, an artificial leather that provides much of the breathability of natural leather while remaining extremely easy to clean.
Our leather Oxfords, on the other hand, will obviously require a bit more elbow grease to achieve the shiny appearance of poromeric—but in exchange you can expect the maximum in breathability and form-fitting comfort.
Both shoes are manufactured with Goodyear welting for the outsoles, a tried-and-true technique that ensures outsoles are secure and watertight, while the insoles feature a perforated PORON insole that allows heat dissipation. The high-density urethane heel cup is resistant to wrinkling and cracking, providing reinforcement on a part of the shoe that undergoes tugging, pulling, and bending when putting it on and taking it off.
