The design of the Army Male General Blue Mess Dress Trousers vis-à-vis the Blue Mess Dress Trousers for Officers/Enlisted personnel takes its cue from the ASU Trousers. Like them, they are manufactured with a pair of half-inch gold braids that are spaced a half-inch apart and run parallel to other from the bottom of the waistband to the bottom of the trouser leg; all other personnel wear a single braid on the Mess Dress Trousers. And, like the ASU General Trousers, they are manufactured in dark blue, contrasting them with the light blue used for the Blue Mess Dress Trousers of all other Army personnel
Our Blue Mess Dress Dress Trousers are manufactured with a Mil-Spec polywool, a 55/45 breathable blend crafted in a tropical weave to help avoid unsightly wrinkles. Often called “high-rise” trouers, they are manufactured according to Army specifications, with no pleats, cuffs, or hip pockets. They come with belt loops, but suspenders are authorized for wear provided they are not visible when the Trousers are worn with the Blue Mess Uniform.
