Our U.S. Army Field Grade service cap for Adjutant General’s (AG) Corps is manufactured in the same color (Army Shade 450) as the Army Service Uniform. It features oak leaves in brilliant gold bullion finish on the visor, a Goldenlite synthetic chinstrap, and a grosgrain-silk hatband in the AG Corp’s branch colors of Dark Blue (cable 65012) and Scarlet (cable 65006) with gold piping. Shipped mounted and ready to wear, our hats are manufactured new and have never been previously issued. The insignia on the Field Grade and Company Grade service caps is the coat of arms of the United States.

In an administrative revision of Army Command Policy (AR 600-20) dated November 6, 2014, the Department of the Army established new a new classification system for Warrant Officers. Chief Warrant OfficerS, Five (CW5, paygrade W-5) are now designated as Senior Field Grade Warrant Officers, corresponding to the commissioned rank of Colonel (O-6). Chief Warrant Officers at the paygrades of W-4 and W-3 are Field Grade Warrant Officers, while Warrant Officers (WO, paygrade W-1) and Chief Warrant Officers, Two (CW2, W-2) are designated as Company Grade Warrant Officers and wear the appropriate service cap, which does not feature the gold bullion laurel leaves. The version of the cap worn by enlisted personnel does not feature a hatband in the branch colors.
