Combat Aircrew Breast Insignia

Combat Aircrew Badge is a decoration of the United States Marine Corps and this badge can be issued to the service members of both the Marines and United States Navy (while serving in a Marine squadron). Combat Aircrew Badge is awarded to those enlisted personnel who have served as crew members on board combat flights.

Bronze service stars are worn pinned to the top of the decoration for those who have participated in actual combat missions. A maximum of three such stars may be displayed, one for every 20 hours of logged flight in a designated combat zone, in addition to the 20 for initially being awarded the Combat Aircrew Badge.Combat Aircrew Badge is authorized for wear by the enlisted personnel only after earning a set number of combat 'points'.
