The 935th Support Battalion Distinctive Unit Insignia was originally approved on 14 December 1998. Buff and scarlet, the colors used for the shield portion of the insignia, are those used by Support Organizations. A saltire (“x” shape) employed in the shield is a heraldic symbol for reinforcement, as well as cooperation and teamwork.
A scarlet annulet (circle) in the shield recalls a wheel and is an allusion to ground movement of materiel to Soldiers. A wing represents aviation support, and the architectural column at the base is an image of strength and an unyielding foundation upon which Soldiers can rely. “You Move We Support” is the Battalion motto.
Several sources indicate that this insignia is now worn by the 935th Aviation Support Battalion, 35th Combat Aviation Brigade, Missouri Army National Guard.

Also known as a unit crest or DUI, a Distinctive Unit Insignia is worn by all Soldiers (except General Officers) in units that have been authorized to be issued the device. It is worn centered on the shoulder loops of the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) and the blue Army Service Uniform (ASU, Enlisted only) with the base of the insignia toward the outside shoulder seam. DUIs are not worn on the Dress variations of either uniform, however.
More guidance on wear of the DUI is found in DA Pamphlet 670-1, Section 21-22, "Distinctive unit insignia" and 21–3(d) and (e), "Beret" and "Garrison Cap," respectively.
