The 467th Quartermaster Battalion Distinctive Unit Insignia was originally authorized for the 467th Supply and Service Battalion.
Between 1 April 2003 and 1 April 2004, the 467th Quartermaster Battalion was deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During that period, the Battalion’s Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment (HHD) supported 45,000-plus Coalition Soldiers transitioning through Kuwait, performed some 1800 missions involving direct-support maintenance and recovery missions, and operated functional camps that supported a total of nineteen Brigades (seventeen Army, two USMC) moving through Kuwait into the front lines of combat, honoring their organizational motto of "Service To Battle." For this superior achievement, the HHD, 467th Quartermaster Battalion was awarded a Meritorious Unit Commendation on 20 November 2007.
As of Autumn 2023, the 467th Quartermaster Battalion does not appear to be an active unit in any of the Army's three components (Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard).

Also known as a unit crest or DUI, a Distinctive Unit Insignia is worn by all Soldiers (except General Officers) in units that have been authorized to be issued the device. It is worn centered on the shoulder loops of the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) and the blue Army Service Uniform (ASU, Enlisted only) with the base of the insignia toward the outside shoulder seam. DUIs are not worn on the Dress variations of either uniform, however.
