U.S. ARMY 795TH MILITARY POLICE BATTALION UNIT CREST (DUI)

Yellow (gold) and green, colors traditionally associated with the Military Police Corps, are used almost exclusively for the 795th Military Police Battalion Distinctive Unit Insignia, also called a “unit crest” or DUI. This insignia was originally approved on 7 January 1943 and was amended to add a description on 10 July 1986. It was subsequently amended on 8 February 1990 to update the description and correct the symbolism.

A compass in the center of the insignia alludes to the Battalion's ability and willingness to go anywhere to carry out any mission. A pair of crossed maces, ancient battle weapons, signifies the Battalion's combat function that enables to deploy to any area or situation “Send Me,” the Battalion motto, is taken from the prophet Isaiah's response to the Lord's inquiry as to whom He should send and “Who will go for us?”: “Here am I, Send Me.”

You can find guidance on wear of the DUI in DA Pamphlet 670-1,
Section 21-22, "Distinctive unit insignia" and 21–3(d) and (e), "Beret" and "Garrison Cap," respectively.
