The 125th Army Reserve Command Shoulder Sleeve Insignia, or unit patch, was based in Nashville and was responsible for Army Reserve units stationed in both Tennessee and Kentucky, epitomized by the powder horn associated with frontiersmen from those states who responded to the call to duty over many decades, "Setting The Pace" for other states across the country.
Three stars on the insignia recall the Tennessee state flag, as does the color combination of red, blue, and white. The stars are positioned to form a “V,” suggesting the Volunteer state of Tennessee.
The 125th Army Reserve Command was active from the mid-1960s until it was inactivated in 1995 and replaced with the 125th Regional Support Command.
