Male ASU Coat Right Breast Pocket
The two types of items worn on the male ASU right breast pocket are nameplates and Identification badges.

Nameplates are worn on the flap of the right breast pocket, centered horizontally between the right and left edges of the pocket and vertically between the top of the pocket and the top of the button. Only last names in block lettering are permitted (no special characters or punctuation).

Up two Identification badges are worn on this pocket in order of precedence (higher precedence is to wearer's right). Badges are centered from left to right and vertically between the bottom of the pocket flap and the bottom of the pocket. The ID Badges mandated for wear on this pocket are, in order of precedence, Presidential Service; Vice-Presidential Service; Combat Service (CSIB); Army Staff; Guard, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; Drill Sergeant; Career Counselor; and National Defense University. DOD/Joint Agency ID badges may be worn on either side provided their placement does not interfere with the correct wear of other ID badges.
