Are the uniforms items authentic?

Salute Industries, creator of The Salute Uniforms brand, only manufactures and carry mil spec items. These items are approved for wear on official occasions. For certain items, there is no "approval" system in place, so we manufacture the items per the military specifications the government makes available.

Active Duty personnel, as well as veterans can order and wear our garments.

Frequently, we receive orders from Museums, TV sets and the entertainment industry, as well as collectors. While it is perfectly legal to order our garments, wearing them to clearly impersonate a serviceman (i.e. stating that you are/were in service while that is not true) is illegal in the United States under the Stolen Valor Act. Other countries have specific regulations that we recommend you check with, prior to ordering.
